The last principle is the idea that "it is better to be late than wrong." This idea is applicable in his view to leadership. He introduced it as an example of the fact that all changes are difficult, therefore leaders should make sure they are not venturing into change for change sake. The phrase refers to employees who are not fully trained but are critical to the company’s success, therefore they need to be "warmed up" on their job before being put into a more conservative role.
